Returned product at my expense and have not received a refund. Product did not work. I sent an email but have not received a response.
Very satisfied. Bought it since I was not willing to string a 100 feet of cable in the house from the cable modem that Time Warner supplied for free and did not have space for wireless router and cable modem next to each other. Wonderful, works like a charm. Have used it now for over a year and no problems what so ever. This device substitutes both of them.
It's more expensive but it definitely worths. The matter of fact is it's not. I've never seen a worse modem ever, if it's not gonna works from even a couple of meters far away why should I use this product. it's not a big house at all, there is not any wall or something between modem and computers, it stays near of my room but there is not any efficient solution at all either, but if you check the price of this modem you're gonna see that it pretends it's a quality product. My third floor neighbour uses apple product modem and I can use that connection from first floor and absolutely better than mine which stays near of my door.
Would have gotten one myself but I'm on the DSL. The wireless has WPA, which is a must in the age of wardriving (WEP can be cracked in under 5 minutes now).
Usually a bum connection somewhere.Five Stars If only her cable provider was as reliable.
The highest reviewed Cable Modem I could find. But it was something on the providers end every time.
Bought this for my Mom last Christmas. The unit has worked great all year.
Every time her internet had connection problems, this poor guy was the first thing to fall under scrutiny, and have accusations thrown at it.
Since installing I have not dropped a conncetion at all. They were both courteous and patient and got my wireless network up in no time. Great product at a good price. I was extremely pleased with my Motorola Surfboard. I played it save and used Motorola's tech support for the very easy setup. My previous motorola surfboard supplied by the cable company was so extremely reliable that I bought my own.
